As the resident box expert within our organization, I was tasked with countless box projects. These projects range from creating flat art to creating 3D modeled renders. Additionally, this duty involved working with print vendors and reviewing client-created artwork to make sure it was inline with standards. Below you will find a varying collection of boxes created for recycling hard-to-recycle waste streams.

PetSmart
This box, in partnership with PetSmart, operates as an in-store solution for pet food packaging. This design features a wide opening to account for the size of pet food bags and a header for better visibility. The brand was keen on using pet imagery, so it was incorporated on all three visible sides.

UpPaint
This box, in partnership with UpPaint, operates as a mail-in solution for old paint buckets. This box utilized a shape that fits four gallon paint buckets perfectly. The design is inspired from TerraCycle's iconic Zero Waste Box™.

Walmart (CA)
This box, in partnership with Walmart, operates as an in-store solution for toy recycling. This design features a playful monster that "eats" the toys deposited. This program was located in Canada, so there was an additional task of including bilingual language throughout the design.

Mobil1
This box, in partnership with Mobil1, operates as an in-store solution for motor oil containers. This design features a discount incentive and an odor-trapping detachable lid for easy disposal.

Pet Supplies Plus
This box, in partnership with Pet Supplies Plus, operates as an in-store solution for pet food packaging. The artwork was originally provided by the client, but enhancements were made to better emphasize the recycling mechanic. This design features a wide opening to account for the size of pet food bags and a header for better visibility.

MASO
This box, in partnership with MASO, operates as an in-office solution for aligners and dental waste.

Walmart (US)
This box, in partnership with Walmart, operates as an in-store solution for beauty packaging. This design features a mounting system that allows for the box to hang freely off of the ground affixed to an end cap.

PepsiCo
This box, in partnership with PepsiCo, operates as an in-lodge solution for snack and candy wrappers. This box was situated in ski lodges, hence the appropriately themed imagery on the lower third of the box.

Toolkit
In order to document all the findings and developments within the world of box creation, I constructed a collection box toolkit with droves of information for any internal or external partners interested in box artwork creation. This document contained curated dieline files, best practices, and basic principles. Resulting in a robust resource.
